Sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) represent a promising solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the aviation sector. SAF can be produced through various processes, including hydroprocessing, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, and alcohol-to-jet conversion.
The adoption of SAF has the potential to significantly decrease the aviation industry's carbon footprint by reducing emissions of carbon dioxide and other pollutants. SAF can be seamlessly integrated into existing aircraft and infrastructure, making it a feasible option for airlines seeking to meet sustainability goals.
