Biography:
Suzana Borschiver, Chemical Engineer and Full Professor at the UFRJ School of Chemistry, holding a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Process Engineering, with two corporate postdoctoral fellowships—conducted at Oxiteno and Braskem, respectively. She serves as Coordinator of NEITEC (Center for Industrial and Technological Studies) and is a member of the Advisory Boards of ABEQ (Brazilian Association of Chemical Engineering) and ABIFINA, as well as the Sustainable Development Commission of ABIQUIM (Brazilian Chemical Industry Association) and the CNPE (National Council for Energy Policy) of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). She has acted as a technical coordinator, lecturer, and consultant on over 100 national and international research projects, consulting engagements, and partnerships. She has supervised 90 Master's theses and Doctoral dissertations, and has authored numerous articles and books, including *Roadmap Tecnologico: Strategic Planning Tool to Align Market, Product, and Technology* (Interciência Publishing); *Catalyzing the Circular Economy: Concepts, Business Models, and Their Application Across Economic Sectors * (UFRJ Publishing); *Circular Economy: A New Mindset on Sustainable Development* (English Edition, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing); and *Technology Roadmap: Cases and Opportunities* (Appris Publishing). Her work focuses on Management and Technological Innovation, with a primary emphasis on the following themes: Technology Roadmapping, Technology Foresight, Technology Strategy and Information, the chemical industry, and the oil, gas, biofuels, and agribusiness sectors. She is a registered Court-Appointed Expert with the TJRJ (Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice) and the AJG/E-Proc Federal systems, specializing in Chemical Engineering and Intellectual Property.
