2nd Edition of Global Conference on Biofuels and Bioenergy | Hybrid Event

Dear congress visitors, it is an honor and a pleasure to write some welcome notes. Biotechnology today makes an unprecedented progress, for several years with new methods in "Environmental Engineering" for the preservation of the environment and the development of processes in Chemical Engineering. This opens up new opportunities to adapt chemical reactions in the extractive processes of metal beneficiation, to achieve higher productivity and to introduce intelligent and differentiated methods to work against environmental pests. It is no coincidence that most of the cultures in the production of metals in modern extractive metallurgy have their origins in ancestral lands with monodominant natural centers. Inorganic engineering, seemingly incompatible with those trends, opens up alternative systems of extractive processes in the production of metals with more respect for natural processes and biodiversity. The development and advancement of metal extractive processes and environmental protection have perspectives in chemical engineering processes.

Dear Conference delegates

I am happy to write a welcome note for Biofuels-2022. The world's increasing fuel demand has put tremendous pressure on traditional fossil fuels, which are not only getting exhausted but also a major concern for global pollution. In this regard, microalgal biofuels seem to be one of the most promising options as they are tiny reservoirs of the constiuetns that can be processed for generating biofuel. The recent deveopments in biotechnology, especially in the 'omics' technologies, has intensified the research of microalgae-based biofuel and its potential commercial prospects. Further, the economics of production may be improved by developing a competent and robust biorefinery for producing biofuels along with other value-added products. Therefore, microalgae developed with 'omics' technologies may yield into a renewable and sustainable source of energy. I hope that deleberations in the conefernce would be fruitful and open up newer approaches towards developing an economical and sustainable resource for biofuel generation.

Dear Congress

I feel the pleasure and a big honor to write a welcome note for Biofuels 2022. Plants are unbelievable factories that produce huge amounts of chemicals. Moreover, this production is completely environmentally neutral. They also consume carbon dioxide and provide the Earth with oxygen and food for humans and animals. As early as antiquity, plants were used as a source of energy. The discovery of fossil fuels gave the impetus to the acceleration of industrial development that has ensured today's standard of living and today's level of technology. As a result of this development, despite its many positive aspects, we humans face the challenges of global warming and must create new resources of energy and materials for ourselves and future generations. Biofuels appear to be one of the pathways that can, at least to some extent, help to solve the problems that have arisen.
I think that our efforts should focus primarily on the development of efficient ways of  producing, distributing and consuming biofuels. It also seems necessary to identify ways to ensure the availability of natural, biological crops for the production of food and energy for the human economy and the protection of wildlife.
With this in mind, have a quiet time for friendly discussions, generating new ideas, and working together all over the world to build a better future.

Congress visitors,

It is my greatest honor and pleasure to write this welcome address. As you may know, bio-based products have increasingly become important industrial, food and medical goods. In support, bio-based therapeutics are rapidly growing and have been used in the treatment of common and rare devastating diseases.
Without a doubt, the conference, Biofuels 2022, will provide a unique and timely fantastic opportunity for delegates, researchers, scientists, and professionals from all corners of the globe to meet and explore the most recent, energizing, and innovative developments as well as discoveries on biofuels and bioenergy including bio-based products. With the growing prevalence and mortality of many diseases, there is an increasing urgent need to develop novel and effective bio-based products for better treatments of diseases. One can expect that the developments and discoveries presented in this conference will significantly help to solve our aforementioned current urgent challenges.

Welcome to the Biofuels and Bioenergy forum!

Looking at our world today, we must admit that we made quite a mess. Fortunately, are we humans able to learn. 40 years ago the responsibility for products ended at the factory gate. Today every engineer must already consider a product’s end of life. CO2 reduction? We must simply learn to reconnect to Mother Nature’s rules. CO2 is just a gas, nothing good or bad - and a building block of life, we are breathing it. With a more holistic view, we can create biofuels that are not only carbon-neutral but carbon-NEGATIVE (climate positive). Avoiding the yearly field incineration of 10.5 billion tons of crop waste (UNEP, CCAC) allows the production of 20 billion barrels of carbon-NEGATIVE fuel oil for ships, power plants, trucks, busses, and machinery, making them part of Mother Nature’s CO2 cycle. One important step to reconnect - and more to come.

Dear scholars

It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the CAT-2019 conference that promises to provide innumerable opportunities to network, share ideas and collaborate. Many important chemical reactions require inputs of energy to proceed. Catalysts, however, can promote these transformation by lowering the energy required to complete the reaction. It is hard to imagine the world today without the impact of catalysis on the fundamental aspects required for life, namely energy, food and water. To make a catalyst more efficient, a molecular level understanding of the catalyst material, the reaction kinetics, intermediates, active centers and pathways are important.  Modern diagnosis tools, in particular operando spectroscopies and imaging techniques that are capable of capturing reaction processes at critical length and time scales, have been or are being successfully developed to advance the field of catalysis science that we will be able to learn from this conference.

Dear visitors of CAT 2019

It is a pleasure for me to write some welcome notes . Especially I want to draw your attention to the increasing innovation potential of combining chemical  science with process technology and engineering .

Some people  regard both  (organic and catalytic)  chemistry as well as process technology /chemical engineering as almost mature sciences. I find it interesting that at the interface of these sciences , innovation takes place at a high speed.

As a case in point : The capability to  3-D print reactors in various metals using  technologies at competitive costs , is now  established.  This  enables to unlock  the full potential of e.g. highly exothermic and/or very high (or low)  temperature and/or hazardous chemistries.  This has especially impact on pharmaceutical and other fine- and specialty chemicals fields. We come in an era where ‘the reactor design will follow the chemistry’ instead of the other way around ( ‘ batch reactor’).

Dear colleagues!

I am honored to greet you on the opening of the Catalysis 2019 conference. Catalysis currently occupies a leading place in various fields of chemical technology and environmental protection. The possibilities of catalysis are constantly expanding and they are aimed at obtaining energy carries, fuels and valuable monomers, playing an important role in sustainable development of society. In recent years, much attention is paid to the development of new approaches to obtaining highly active and selective catalytic systems, as well as to using of new raw materials for important products producing. Globally, chemical nanotechnologies are fully related to the development of efficient new generation catalysts what is linked to understanding of mechanisms of active centers evolution, which ensure high activity of important catalytic reactions. I express the hope that the conference will allow us to hold a fruitful discussion and exchange our views on important aspects of catalysis.

Dear congress visitors

It is my honor and great pleasure to write a few welcome notes to you. Through centuries people were fascinated with the possibilities of synthesis of new materials with extraordinary properties. New materials are practically needed in all domains of life. Design and synthesis of new materials is one of the most important and interesting part of material sciences. Particularly a synthesis of new active and selective catalysts is a very important challenge. Our main aim concentrates on the new methods of the synthesis of single-site hierarchical porous zeolite catalysts with acid-base and redox properties. Such zeolite catalysts with active sites formed by incorporation of heteroelements in their framework are perspective as catalysts of protection of environment and biofeedstock conversion into valuable chemicals.
