Biography:
Dr. Simon Gonzalez-Martinez studied chemical engineering at the National University of Mexico (UNAM) and got his BSc in 1975. Afterward, he moved to Germany, where he finished his PhD at the Institute for Bioengineering and Biotechnology of Wastewater at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 1981. He then returned to Mexico, where he lives, and has worked at the Institute of Engineering at the National University of Mexico since. He is a professor in Environmental Engineering.
