Biography:
Dr. S’fiso T. Gumbi obtained his PhD at the University of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa in 2022. Thereafter became a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Zululand, South Africa, before being hired permanently as a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. His research focuses on industrial microbiology with a strong interest in algal biotechnology and wastewater management and he has published several articles in accredited journals and made several local and international conference presentations.
