Biography:
Maria Nordio earned her bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pavia, Italy, in 2013. She then obtained her master's degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2016. In 2020, she completed her Ph.D. at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, as part of a European project, with a dissertation titled "New Hybrid Technology for Low Hydrogen Concentration Separation and Purification from the Natural Gas Grid." Since 2020, she has been working as a researcher at Research on the Energy System in Italy, focusing on the biological methanation process in trickle-bed reactors.
