Biography:
Dr. Konstantinos Pyrgakis is an Assistant Professor at the University of West Attica at the department of Mechanical Engineering. He graduated from the School of Chemical Engineer at National Technical University of Athens, holds an M.Sc. in Computational Fluid Dynamics and a Ph.D. in Process Systems Engineering. His main research interests include process design, energy integration and optimization of industrial processes and biorefineries; Life Cycle and technoeconomic Assessments; and mathematical programming and Machine Learning. He has over 15 years of research experience and has participated in more than 10 European and National research projects. To date, he has authored 28 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
