Biography:
Dr. Disni Gamaralalage received her PhD in Environmental Studies from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2019. She has since worked on international research projects focusing on life cycle assessment (LCA), techno-economic analysis (TEA), climate change mitigation, and circular economy, particularly in biomass and biochar systems. Currently a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, she contributes LCA and TEA expertise to the UK Biochar Demonstrator project. Dr. Gamaralalage has published several peer- reviewed articles and was awarded the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Achievement during her doctoral studies.
