Biography:
Prince Kumar Barnwal is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. His research focuses on biomass valorization, sustainable catalysis, biorefinery development, and process intensification to produce renewable chemicals. His work includes the synthesis of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), catalytic oxidation of HMF to 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA), reaction engineering, and heterogeneous catalyst development. He has published research articles in reputed international journals and actively participates in national and international conferences related to sustainable chemical and energy technologies.
