Biography:

Adhwaith Das (AD) is a PhD student from Southern Cross University, Australia. His research focuses on recovering energy and nutrients from biomass residues, thereby achieving a micro-circular economic loop within the agriculture and livestock industry. He utilises state-of-the-art techniques such as Hydrothermal Carbonisation (HTC) for hydrochar and hydrochar composite preparation and then applies them in Anaerobic Digestion (AD) to study how they enhance biomethane production. Apart from academics, he has worked as an assistant quality control officer and a technical assistant at a commercial laboratory and factory. He is also active in recreational sports activities and organising cultural events
